uring the years of engagement in the health IT sector, both on the local market and abroad, we have encountered constant inefficiency, both through our professional career and in our private life. Healthcare systems in the region tend to be slow and inefficient, waiting lists are getting longer, hospitals are understaffed, and infrastructure is becoming more and more outdated every day. In addition, in these difficult times, the whole world is under the attack of a serious pandemic that has changed the way we spend our daily lives and the way we manage our business. In order to help solve some of the aforementioned problems, we want to make our contribution to the entire system, doing what we have proven to be experienced in - modernization and the introduction of new technologies in the field of healthcare. Cardiovascular disease remains the number 1 global cause of death, accounting for over 30% of all deaths worldwide and causing a host of other health problems. Diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol level, obesity, arrhythmia, etc., are just some of the accompanying problems that occur in patients, not always causal, but certainly correlative. Cardio AI is a platform capable of handling a large amount of metadata involved in the clinical processes of such cases, gathering them into a unique data set and delivering the collected results, correlations and links recognized through previously established algorithms to the end user. CardioAI is a SaaS that enables the described workflow in any step of the clinical procedure, regardless of the size of the institution, system load or available infrastructure. Ease of use, scalability, speed of response and affordable price are the main characteristics of the product. The Cardio AI project was developed in cooperation with our partner Žejn d.o.o. from Slovenia, with the support of EU funds through the EUREKA program.

Recognized as a good and stable partner, in the period from 2019 to the end of 2022, we implemented the EU project Internationalization of business by presenting at international conferences of digital medicine, during which we appeared at a total of five important conferences of digital medicine in the countries of the region - Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to successfully complete the set tasks and meet the set goals. We hereby thank HAMAG-BICRO, the EU organization and our partners for their trust and support.

We have successfully completed the application software implementation process to improve competitiveness and business efficiency, thus introducing high levels of control of key processes within the company, from logistics, marketing, sales, strategic planning, asset management and production processes. Our potential was also recognized in the Croatian Agency for Small and Medium Entrepreneurship, and for the most part, the project was subsidized from the European Structural and Investment Funds from the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion.

We have successfully completed the ISO standard integration for the company processes and required certification of ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO27001. Our potential was also noticed by the Croatian agency for small and medium businesses and most of the project was subsidised by the european structural and investment funds of competency and cohesion framework system
